Shady Lakes Bass & Trout Fishing

Shady Lakes Trout & Bass fishing has been open to the public for the past 55 years. Owned by the Phillips family, it remains a beautiful oasis in the Rio Grande valley just 10 minutes north of downtown Albuquerque. Shady Lakes has beautiful ponds abundant with water lilies and shaded picnic areas under huge cottonwood trees. Ponds are stocked with rainbow trout, largemouth bass, and bluegill on a regular basis. Shady Lakes operates seasonally, opening in the spring and closing in the fall.
