With twenty-five years in the music business; songstress Tia Singleton has established and maintained an extensive repertoire. Ms. Singleton, a native of Washington, DC, is a gifted singer. Her music legacy hails from a long line of singers on both sides of her family. She has matriculated in the art of gospel music through the teachings of gospel pioneers Wesley Boyd, William Hubbard, Raymond Reeder, and Joyce Garrett. Not only she learned the art of ministering through gospel music but she has also been taught to sing various styles and genres of music. She has embraced the blessing to sing and has traveled extensively with renowned artists such as Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Barry Manilow, Patti Labelle and Micah Stampley. As a former background singer for Yolanda Adams and Angela Winbush, Ms. Singleton received notoriety in the industry for her vocal talents which has opened doors for opportunities to be featured as a lead on various recordings.

She currently serves as the Pastor of Worship and Arts at Union Temple Baptist Church and the Praise and Worship Leader/Coordinator at Ark of Safety Christian Church where she uses that same passion to enhance the worship experience. Currently, Ms. Singleton is working on her long awaited solo project titled “My Destiny.” Her first single titled “Mighty” is available on all digital music outlets and currently receiving air time on various internet radio stations.
