Minecraft Studio: Fantastical Worlds

AGES 8 - 14
Through a combination of interactive lessons and individual challenges, participants will be guided through the process of designing and building their world. At the end of the studio, students can share their creations and receive feedback in a supportive environment.
In This Afterschool Studio, students will . . .

Practice using Minecraft’s tools to design fantastical landscapes.

Learn techniques for building castles, floating islands, and other fantasy elements.

Explore world-building as a medium for storytelling and creative expression.

Participants must have access to Minecraft Java Edition for PC/Mac to access MODA’s private Minecraft server where creative building takes place. Other versions of Minecraft and Minecraft on tablets and phones will not work.
Please note that this is a creative building class and that Player versus Player (PvP) activity is not allowed.
